Susan Boyle has bought the council-owned home where she grew up in the village of Blackburn, West Lothian.

Two weeks ago, she paid $56,844.92 for the house which she grew up in. The “Britain’s Got Talent” megastar made $6.4 million on her multi-platinum selling debut album, “I Dreamed a Dream."

A friend said, “Susan has more money than she can spend and, quite rightly, treated herself to a luxury home.

"But the house she grew up in is her last strong link to her beloved parents since they passed away.

"She can't wait to move into the new house. But anytime she gets homesick, she just needs to pick up the keys and walk around the corner."

Boyle bought a luxury home around the corner for $479,000.
