U2 stars Bono and The Edge turned out for Colin Farrell Monday night in Toronto as the father-to-be launched his new fantasy movie "Ondine." The rock stars - who blew Chicago away this weekend with their 360 Tour - jetted in to Toronto to get ready for their sold-out shows in the Canadian city on Wednesday and Thursday night. While there, they decided to support Colin on the big opening night. Both Bono and the Edge joined Farrell on the red carpet before the premiere. "Great to be here," said Bono as he tried to dodge the limelight preferring to keep the spotlight on Farrell. The Edge said he was a huge fan and said Farrell was a great actor. "He's great, he's great," he said. "Ondine," which also star's Farrell's pregnant girlfriend Alicja Bachleda, is based on the the story of an Irish fisherman who finds a woman in his fishing net.
"I know them through the years. It is very cool for them to be here, I have been a massive fan since I was a kid."
