William Kennedy Smith, the founder of the Center for International Rehabilitation has announced his engagement.
According to the Washington Post, Smith, the 50-year-old son of Jean Kennedy Smith and a nephew of the late John F Robert and Ted Kennedy, will marry Anne Henry this coming April.
Ms Henry had previously worked as a communications director for Smith’s firm in the early 2000s before going on to the Art Institute of Chicago to work on communications for the Modern Wing.
A physician, Smith was acquitted of rape charges in 1991. Five years ago he was also accused of harassment by two female employees at his Chicago not for profit organization. One case was dismissed while the other was settled for a reported six figure sum.
