The Donegal Association of Boston was founded in 1908 by a group of Donegal immigrants to Boston's shores who wanted to preserve the traditions and culture of their homeland as well as extend the hand of friendship to newcomers from Donegal to the city.
The association has not only stood the test of time, but has also adapted to the times and continues to play a pivotal role in the local Donegal and wider Irish community here in Boston. This year the County Donegal Association of Greater Boston celebrated it's 106th anniversary with a dance and banquet held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Florian Hall, Dorchester.
For more information on the association please contact President Colm Mc Daid 617 698 7112, Dance Chairman Michael Mc Carron 617 696 1702 or any member of the County Donegal Association.
