A lock of Irish actor Cillian Murphy's hair from the set of "Peaky Blinders" is on sale for a whopping £6,000 ($7,620).
"This is a guaranteed authentic lock of Cillian Murphy’s hair," Paul Fraser Collectibles said in its listing.
"The hair comes directly from a wigmaker who has worked on several major recent films and TV programmes. The wigmaker takes hair samples from celebrities to ensure the wigs exactly match their hair. 99% of TV and film stars use wigs or hair extensions on screen.
"The lock comes affixed to card, bearing his name written in pen by the wigmaker."
Discussing the listing, Fraser said: "This lock is unique on the market. No other lock or strand of Cillian Murphy’s hair has ever been offered for sale before to our knowledge.
"Murphy’s Peaky Blinders haircut started a trend for the 'undercut crop.' Here you can own the hair that started the craze."
Fraser added: "I should probably have priced it higher.
"Particularly when you consider the lock’s individual strands have a total retail value of around £50,000.
"And that in November, a cap Murphy wore on screen in Peaky Blinders auctioned for £20,000. More than doubling its £8,000 estimate.
"Once he wins the Oscar, I will probably re-evaluate the price. But there’s a strong chance I won’t own it any more."
Fraser acknowledged: "Although owning a lock of hair might sound unusual, there is actually a big market for it."
The "top celebrity hair lock sales," Fraser said, are Che Guevara ($119,500), Elvis Presley ($115,000), and Michael Jackson ($100,000).
A strand of Murphy's hair is also available on Paul Fraser Collectibles for £399 ($505) and is presented with a small display card.
Murphy, meanwhile, is the bookmaker's favorite to win Best Actor at the Oscars this Sunday, March 10. It's the Cork native's first time being nominated in the category.
The Irish actor is nominated for his performance in Christopher Nolan's blockbuster "Oppenheimer" and has already won best actor awards at the BAFTAs, Golden Globes, and Screen Actors Guild Awards - three early indicators for the Oscars.
