Patrick Dempsey! Yep, Ireland has adopted "McDreamy".Getty

Check out our list of our favorite Patricks and let us know if your favorite made the list.

Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Dempsey became another of Ireland's adopted sons when he filmed "Disenchanted" on our shores.

He gleefully shared snaps from his travels around the country in between filming and even got a suit from Louis Copeland.

Patrick Bateman - "American Psycho"

Patrick Bateman in "American Pyscho".

An iconic character in literature and film, Bateman is memorable for many reasons.

From his morning rituals and flexing in the mirror to business card wars and running down a hallway with a chainsaw, Bateman is never boring.

Patrick Warburton

Patrick Warburton in "A Series of Unfortunate Events".

While some may know his face, we all know his voice. Warburton has voiced characters such as Joe Swanson in "Family Guy", Kronk in "The Emperor's New Groove", Flynn in "Skylanders" and Volibear and Zac in "League of Legends".

He also appears in "A Series of Unfortunate Events" on Netflix as Lemony Snicket himself. Oh, and did we mention he was The Tick? Truly a pop-culture icon.

Patrick Star - "Spongebob Squarepants"

Patrick Star in "Spongebob Squarepants".

We all have a bit of Patrick Star in us — we don't always want to do work, we would prefer to eat ice cream and lie on a rock or go chase jellyfish.

His and Spongebob's friendship is the purest thing you'll see on television these days and we think he deserves a spot on this list.

Pat Mustard - "Father Ted"

Actor Pat Laffan sadly passed away aged 79 in 2019, but his role as Pat Mustard in "Father Ted" will live on for years to come. He was a minor character in the final series of the show, but fans haven't been able to get enough of him ever since.

The Craggy Island milkman was a sleazy, sex-crazed maniac who slept with the women he delivered the milk to every morning and Mrs. Doyle was mad about him. An Irish icon if ever we knew one.

Patrick Stewart

Patrick Stewart in "Star Trek".

It's not possible to have a list of iconic Patricks and not mention Mr Stewart. From Jean Luc Picard to Professor X, he's portrayed some of the biggest geek and pop-culture icons in the world.

Needless to say, PStew is the ultimate Patrick!
