Mystic Millie was on Ireland AM during the week, with the dog’s psychic abilities put to the test ahead of the Croke Park meeting.
Tara Byrne Sammon, a dog trainer with Mo Chara Animal Rescue was on the show alongside Millie, explaining that the canines fortune telling abilities can be "a bit spooky sometimes."
"She does have very, very strong intuition," Tara told Ireland AM presenter Alan Hughes.
Putting Millie’s abilities to the test, Muireann and Tommy were put head to head, with Muireann holding a red bowl of dog food for the Rebels, and Tommy holding a yellow and blue bowl of dog food for the Banner.
"We have two bowls of dog food here, one for Cork; one for Clare and we’re going to ask Millie — whichever one Millie goes to we predict will win the match at the weekend," Alan explained.
Ultimately, the Jack Russel went ‘straight’ to Muireann’s red bowl, "not even thinking about Clare!"
"That was quick," Alan said, "Millie has predicted Cork. Millie the psychic."

Social media users from Cork and Clare took to the comments to have their say on the matter.
One said: "She is 100% correct."
Another wrote: "Yesssssss hon the rebels."
A third wrote: "Well I guess I won’t be adopting Millie so."
A fourth added: "I’m blaming Millie if we lose."
However, Millie was 100% wrong as Cork were beaten at the death by Clare in Sunday’s final.
It comes not long after Muireann was called out after causing a stir with her outfit on Ireland AM,m with viewers thinking her blood orange dress, which appeared to some as red, was an ode to Cork ahead of the weekend.
Clearing up the confusion, Muireann explained she hadn’t thought of the big game and hadn’t donned the dress ‘on purpose.’
"Lads I’m not that smart," Muireann said. "Sorry. Best of luck to Clare and Cork!"
