Irish American comedians Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon had a bit too much fun playing their alter egos, Royal commentators Cord Hosenbeck (Ferrell) and Tish Cattigan (Shannon). 

The A-listers flew to London to perform their tv hosting duties, as part of HBO's Funny or Die.

While we can't say the actors knew all too much about the Royals or their customs,  they provided welcome comic relief. 

The Hollywood stars even  thought that the first marriage between an American woman and a British man was the nuptials of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and musician Chris Martin (of "Coldcuts" fame they confidently declared). 

The real magic came when Prince Harry kissed his new bride Meghan Markle. Watch below to see hilarity ensue.
