Music group The Script broke records when they bought the biggest round of drinks in history.

Some eight thousand people were recipients of a major act of generosity by Irish band, The Script.

Those in attendance at their St. Patrick's Day gig in Brussels were all given a token for a free drink at the bar.

The drinks were bought just in time for the band's crowd pleaser, Paint The Town Green.

As they played the song, an ode to Ireland, lead singer Danny O'Donoghue asked the audience to raise their glasses in honor of Saint Patrick.
