Three Irish men are planning to drive from Nenagh, County Tipperary to Beijing for their friend’s wedding.
Their journey will take them 10,000 miles through Europe into Turkey, then Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, into Russia, Mongolia and then finally China, BreakingNews.ie reports.
James Costello, Brian Gleeson and Willie Gleeson will start out nine weeks before their friend Alan Ho marries Sophie on September 5 and will make regular video updates along the way.
The three lads are taking on the adventure to raise money for the Laura Lynn charity, which provides palliative care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
