According to recent figures released by the dating app, Limerick people are among the most active users. 

Tinder's ‘Year in Swipe’ is the company's first ever analysis of its users and dating trends.

Limerick, in the south west of Ireland, has been listed as one of the top ten cities in the world who use Tinder the most.

The app's annual review found that residents of Los Angeles used the app more than any other city in the world.

Among the other revelations were that Drake's "In My Feelings" and Ariana Grande's "God is a Woman" were the most cited Spotify anthems for Tinder users across the globe.

The research also uncovered that pizza is one of the most popular emojis listed in user bios, and Mondays at 9pm is generally the time when the most matches are made.
