Bono's peacock, allegedly a 50th birthday gift for wife Alii is driving neighbors nuts with its constant screeching and -er droppings.

The peahen supposedly escaped from Bono’s posh Killiney mansion in Dublin and has been nesting and rooting in neighbor’s gardens keeping them awake with her screeches.

Neighbor Susan McKeon called the cops and was told there had been numerous complaints about the peahen who had escaped on several other occasions also.

She told the Irish Independent: 'The cops  said, 'Oh for God's sake, it's Bono's'.

'And I said, 'What will I do with it?' and they said: 'I don't know, you can do what you want with it.' I replied, 'well, supposing I kill it and put it in the oven and he actually said, 'I don't care'.

'He said to me that they had put too many man hours into Bono's peacock.'
Another local  resident, Pauline McSweeney, also called the cops after the peahen wandered around her garden.

She said: 'They had already received a few calls about it and reckoned it belonged to Bono.

'It was there for about two days and then left.

'It went into my neighbour's house next door and left a lovely message.'
