Oscar-nominated American actress Amy Adams is in Dublin shooting a new film, “Leap Year.” The “Doubt” star was seen last week at Dublin Castle caught in a snow shower – a movie magic snow shower, that is.

For the film, the castle has been transformed into a snow-covered hotel.

“Leap Year” is a romantic comedy in which Adams plays a woman who journeys across Ireland to propose to her boyfriend on February 29, the Irish traditional day when women are “allowed” to propose to men.

The lovely Adams stars alongside English actor Matthew Goode, who starred in 2008’s “Brideshead Revisited,” and Irish actor Peter O’Meara.
