Jilted Caroline Wozniacki has taken to a Miami beach and a bikini to show Rory McIlroy what he has left behind.

The newly single Danish tennis star and best friend Serena Williams happily posed for photographs with a newly wed couple on Miami beach.

Williams was due to be bridesmaid when Wozniacki wed golf superstar McIlroy later this year.

McIlroy broke the engagement off in a three minute phone call which Wozniacki thought at first was a joke.

The Irish Independent reports that Wozniacki looked stunning in a striped blue bikini.

She covered up with a t-shirt when exploring her athletic side on the sand.

The tennis pair soaked up the rays for the day and, according to the paper, crashed a wedding they stumbled across.

The report says Williams and Wozniacki stumbled across a random beach ceremony and happily posed for pictures with the newlyweds as they took their first photos as man and wife.

Wozniacki had put on a brave face when it emerged 10 days ago that her former fiancé ended their engagement in a three minute phone call.

McIlroy called the wedding off after they had hired a celebrity wedding planner and sent out their invitations.

Former world number one Wozniacki had already picked her dress for the big day.

She admitted that the split ‘came as a bit of a shock’.
