It seems Conor McGregor and Jake Paul have put their differences aside ahead of a potential grudge match later this year.

The Irish UFC fighter and the American YouTuber posed for photos together on Monday ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration in Washington DC.

Paul was joined by his brother Logan and their mother Pam Stepnick on the way to the political ceremony, with McGregor looking cozy in the back seat.

Taking to X to share the snap, the brothers were inundated with comments by those confused to see McGregor hanging with the pair.

Jake captioned the snap: "Inauguration going great."

"What in the AI is this pic?" one fan wrote, clearly bemused.

"Never thought I would see a picture like this, with all the beef over the years," another added.

"Not the cross over I expected," a third penned.

Paul, 28, and McGregor, 36, have been notorious for their online discourse, with the pair having famously exchanged jabs over the past few years.

The sighting comes after reports emerged last month that McGregor had agreed to take Jake on in the ring.

The pair previously went at each other online after Katie Taylor beat Amanda Serrano back in 2022.

Taylor beat Amanda Serrano on a split decision at Madison Square Garden in New York in May of that year, to underline her undisputed champion status.

Afterward, both Eddie Hearn and Jake Paul angled for a rematch in Croke Park in September or October of that year.

However, online, Paul got into a slagging match with Conor McGregor.

McGregor, watching the fight and Jake Paul’s interview afterward, tweeted: "Who the f*** is this jackass in the pink Jimmy Saville glasses?"

And, of course, it wasn’t long before Paul responded, writing: "I'm the one who has done more for fighters than you ever have the one who has won 5 fights in the past 2 years while you have lost 5 the one who isn’t owned by Dana White the one who made the fight you just watched happen the 1 who got your hero Katie Taylor paid that’s who."
