Conor McGregor has said "they will have to kill me to stop me," as he said the Constitution will be "fixed."

It comes after the Dubliner was informed he wouldn’t face a prosecution by the Director of Public Prosecutors (DPP).

The latest follows the controversial fighter’s announcement that he is going to run for the Presidential Elections.

"Ireland will be free"

Taking to Facebook on Thursday morning in one of his many chaotic rants, McGregor said: "They will have to kill me to stop me.

"The foundation of bunreacht na hEireann [the Constitution of Ireland] was done on the blood of Harry Boland, Arthur Griffith and Michael Collins!

"Without the murder of these 3 men in betrayal, we would not be in this situation, with the power fully removed from the people."

Conor added that the government was "born on the betrayal of its great citizens."

"The constitution will be fixed!" he raged.

"Power torn from the grasp of the political elite!

"The truth shall prevail. IRELAND WILL BE FREE."

"The next patron saint"

The bizarre post was met with a number of supporters, with one branding the fighter as "he next patron saint of Ireland" and another encouraging "get em Champ."

The majority took to the comments with confusion about his latest statements.

"These men fought for Ireland’s freedom and neutrality in the world… I’m not sure about you keeping the neutral status if you were to be a President as there’s a couple of signs that’s made me doubt it."

"Bro, what are you yapping about?" another questioned.

Others took to the comments to question McGregor on his UFC career, with one person noting "we just over here still waiting for the Chandler fight… bro over there thinking he’s gonna save the world from some bs he’s been fed."
