The Corrs are back on tour but 2024 is also a milestone year for band member Jim as he's celebrating a big birthday.

Jim, who is the eldest in the band, headed to his hometown of Dundalk to celebrate his 60th over the weekend with close friends and family.

According to the Irish Independent, the party was held at the Forty Bar and was "invite only." Pictures shared by the bar show The Corrs getting into the party spirit and performing for their guests.

Jim can be seen playing the keyboard while wearing a pale blue waistcoat while his sisters are all wearing darker shades of shimmering black and green as they sing.

"Forty Bar had the pleasure of hosting an extraordinary birthday celebration on Saturday night. Musical royalty graced the stage, and enchanting melodies filled the bar," the bar said in the caption to their post.

It continued: "Our heartfelt thanks go out to The Corrs Andrea, Caroline, Sharon and of course the man of the hour, Jim. It was truly an honour to be part of such a memorable occasion."

Jim's sisters also shared pictures to make his 60th and wish their big bro a happy birthday with Andrea saying: "The best brother in the whole world. We love you forever Jim xxx."

Caroline couldn't help but post a throwback picture of her brother in his youth, saying: "Happy Birthday Jimbo. We love you."

It's been quite a busy few weeks for Jim as he scooped the best-dressed gent at the Racing for Rosabel event in Galway at the end of July.

However, in true Irish style, Jim refused to take the credit for his look as he credited the win to his fashionable partner, Caroline McElroy, who he looked to for style advice, saying: "I owe this win to her."
