Enya Cox Dempsey, 14, of Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny is this year’s Junior Eurovision entry for Ireland having wowed the judges in the "Junior Eurovision Éire" series on TG4 over a five week period.
Having been named the winner of the Junior Eurovision Eire series on Sunday, October 13, Enya will head to Madrid, Spain in November to represent Ireland in the 2024 Junior Eurovision.

At the Contest, Enya will sing the newly written song “Le Chéile” entirely as Gaeilge. She is one of 15 entries in this year's competition, which will air in full on TG4 at 5 pm on Saturday, November 16.

Ireland debuted at Junior Eurovision in 2015 and has participated eight times since. Enya will be the ninth singer to represent Ireland at the Contest.

Ireland's best result at the Junior Eurovision Contest to date came in 2022, when Sophie Lennon performed "Solas," earning Ireland a fourth place finish with 150 points.
Who is Enya Cox Dempsey?
Enya is from the town of Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny where she lives with Mum Róisín and the family dog Pip.
Family is a huge part of Enya’s life as her uncle Paddy, grandad Paddy Sr, and granny Helen live just next door and are always on hand to listen to Enya’s performances.
Enya has recently taken up playing the drums much to Róisín’s delight - the drum set is set up in Róisín’s bedroom!
Enya gave a very memorable rendition of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire” on last year’s "Late Late Toy Show" on RTÉ and has performed in local pantomimes and shows with her Music Generation club all her life.
Her goal is to win big for Ireland and become a pop star and make her hometown proud!
