Have you ever fancied appearing in 'Games of Thrones'? Well if you live in or around Dublin, or if you’re about to embark on a visit, you might be in luck. The hit TV series is auditioning in Dublin this weekend.
The popular show is looking for people who want to be extras or take on small roles. And no acting experience is needed.
If you’d like to try your hand then you’ll need to drop by The Extras Department on Bow Street in Smithfield between 12 and 5pm this Saturday afternoon (April 8).
According to the event page, “This event is FREE to the public. There is no need to register and drop-ins are very much welcome. If you do intend to pop into us, please click attending on this event so we can keep updated”.
You will, however, need to bring your passport with you on the day.

The drama is filmed in Northern Ireland and for those familiar with the province, much of the striking landscape and locations are instantly recognizable. Larrybane and Carnlough on the north Antrim coast are both used, as is Inch Abbey and Audley’s Field & Castle.
In fact, the show has become an important means for Northern Ireland to market itself as a tourism destination.
The HBO series has also featured a great array of Irish talent, including Jack Gleeson (Joffrey), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Aiden Gillen (Petyr Baelish), Liam Cunningham (Sir Davos) and Ciaran Hinds (Mance Rayder).
