Thirteen-year-old Maya Alvarez-Coyne, one of the top ranking Irish dancers in the U.S., was one of four kids selected to dance onstage with Justin Bieber during his Orlando concert on June 30th.

The young teen added Irish dancing to her hip hop routine to stand out on her audition video, a performance to Bieber’s song “Children” that she posted to YouTube.

She said she was so excited when she heard she’d been chosen to dance with the pop star she started jumping up and down.

“I was in complete shock. I couldn’t believe it,” she told Fox 11.

Alvarez-Coyne, from Irvine, Calif., has been dancing since she was three. The same week she danced with Bieber, she also competed in the North American Dance Championship, where she placed fifth.

The born entertainer said her dream is to act or be on Broadway when she grows up.
