British actress and 70s icon Jane Seymour has hailed the ‘gorgeous’ Irish summertime as she enjoyed a well-deserved break in Galway over the weekend.
The actress rose to fame in the 1970s when she played Solitaire alongside Roger Moore in "Live and Let Die", one of the biggest movies of the decade.
Following a visit to Dublin, the 73-year-old made her way to the west, visiting Renvyle, where she was noticeably stunned by the Connermara Countryside, which she branded "breathtaking".
Sharing snaps on social media, she wrote: "Such a gorgeous summer day! Renvyle is only a few hours from Dublin, but it feels like a different world.
"This has been the best holiday, and I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. The beauty here is breathtaking."
The star looked elegant as she posed for some pictures beside the clear Galway water in a stunning blue and white outfit.
Fans of the actress took to social media to agree with her comments of the Gaeltacht County with one writing: "Welcome to Galway".
Another commented, "It’s a beautiful spot. I remember childhood holidays there," while a third added, "Beautiful photo and a marvelous landscape!"
An iconic face of the 1970s, the Bond girl joked that she landed her role in the Bond film due to her long sheath of hair and that she required "no acting" to nab the part!
Though her Bond character is her most well-known credit, Jane Seymour starred in the 1990s TV series "Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman "and co-starred with Christopher Reeve in the 1980 film "Somewhere in Time".
She most recently starred in the TV series "Harry Wild" alongside Amy Huberman and Rohan Nedd and portrayed Kathleen Cleary in the 2005 film "Wedding Crashers".
