Legendary actress Jane Seymour has been spotted dancing the night away on the stage in Johnnie Fox's pub in the Dublin mountains.

She spent her Sunday evening learning Irish dance in the packed pub.

She took to the stage, alongside a male dancer, who led her in a jig as they danced to the song "I'll Tell Me Ma." The 73-year-old appeared as spritely as ever while kicking her leg up high into the air in an attempt to perfect her moves.

The crowd at the generally packed-out pub could be heard cheering for the star in a clip that Jane posted to social media.

"There’s nothing quite like the thrill of doing something for the first time - like being pulled on stage at Johnnie Fox's pub to learn an Irish dance!" she wrote.

"New experiences bring so much joy and energy into our lives. It doesn’t have to be perfect; it’s the trying that counts. That’s such an important message for this #OpenHeartsSunday!" she added.

Fans flocked to Seymour's comment section to praise the actress's "amazing" lust for life.

Country singer Cliona Hagan and broadcaster Maia Dunphy left a string of emojis to show their support.

"You are amazing Jane," Irish actress Roma Downey wrote. "You just jump in with enthusiasm and joy."

Another added: "You are amazing and such an inspiration. Your love for life is contagious. Thank you for sharing and for being such a wonderful role model."

Jane is no stranger to the iconic Dublin pub, having professed her love for the venue in the past. The "Wedding Crashers" actress posted a video of a singer performing on stage at the pub last January, saying: "We had an unforgettable time singing together at Johnnie Fox's."
