Kabin Crew’s brand new single "Christmas Cipher" caps off an amazing year for the Irish youth rappers who saw their song "The Spark" go viral, amassing more than 2 billion plays across social media.
In the wake of their success, Kabin Crew is now set for their very own Christmas special for RTÉ Kids which will broadcast on RTÉ One on Christmas Eve, December 24.
Ahead of the programme, Kabin Crew has shared the music video for their new song "Christmas Cipher," another banger in the likes of "The Spark."

"Christmas Cipher" was written by the tutors and participants of the Kabin Studio, a not-for-profit youth and community-based studio in Cork's Northside.
Lyrics of "Christmas Cipher" are performed by Martin Crowley, Zoey Hourihan Dennehy, Dermot Cassidy, Jake Hogan, Clara O'Riordan-Cummins, David Draszanowski, Nicola-Marie O’Riordan, Ella Draszanowska, Lucy Corcoran, Conor Fleming, Sally O’Leary Crowley, Cayden Cullen, Laura O’Neill, Carleigh O’Neill, Kai McCarthy Hanrahan, Jackie Rea, Dionne O'Mahony, Heidi White, Brooke O’Shea, Aaron Hennessy, Ian Tabone, Garry McCarthy, and Sophia McNamara.
The new Christmas song was produced by Garry McCarthy (GMCBeats), who also worked on Kabin Crew's viral banger "The Spark."
"Kabin Crew’s Christmas Special" will air on RTÉ One on Christmas Eve and will feature songs from the young Cork City rap collective including "Kabin Party & Belter," "Hiccup," "You’ll be Fine," and "Treat Yourself."
The Kabin Crew's Christmas Special on RTÉ will give viewers a chance to get to know the members of the crew more. Fans will see where all the magic happens in the Kabin Studio, see how these amazing songs are written and the important messages in the lyrics that have relatable messages for everyone, no matter what your age.
Viewers can discover more about the community ethos of the Kabin, learn how they started collaborating with the Lisdoonvarna Crew, and see the work that happens every day in the Kabin from workshops to songwriting to video making.
This Christmas special will shine a light on Knocknaheeny on the Northside of Cork City, where the Kabin Studio is based, and the amazing people and their stories from the area.
Finally, and most importantly, the Kabin Crew members will tell us about what they are getting up to at Christmas time from the best Christmas dinner to what time you should wake up on Christmas Day to open presents.
