Choreographer Mary Murphy recently revealed she would love to see "Valkyrie star Tom Cruise join her on the panel of the US dance contest "So You Think You Can Dance," and the actor’s wife – who dazzled viewers with a Judy Garland-inspired routine on a special edition of the program earlier this year – thinks he would be the perfect person to judge the contestants.

Speaking at the Dizzy Feet Foundation gala at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, Katie Holmes said: "He would be great. He really would."

While Katie is keen for Tom to make an appearance on the program, she is unsure if she would accept any offers to make a return.

When asked about the possibility of appearing again, Holmes said: "I don't know. I don't know, but it was a great time."

Despite the ‘Mad Money’ star’s comments, Murphy admitted she has so far been unable to approach Cruise about appearing.

She said: “I'm going to try. If I can just slide my way in there, I will."
