Speaking to an audience in Belfast recently Neeson said: “And yes, there’ll be a Taken 2, before these limbs give up on me”. In the original action film, Neeson plays the part of Bryan Mills, a former spy who has to rely on his skills to save his kidnapped daughter from a group of human traffickers in Paris. “Taken” debuted in theaters in 2009 and the sleeper hit proved to be a hit at the box office. The Irish actor will begin production on “Taken 2” this spring. The original screenwriter of “Taken” Luc Besson is also developing a TV series based on the film which will serve as a follow up the sequel.
