Maura Tierney will reprise her role as a love interest of Denis Leary's character Tommy Gavin in the FX Series "Rescue Me" after undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Tierney had to pull out of "Parenthood" last year after receiving the diagnosis, but has come through treatment well and is set to resume work.

Spokeswoman Christina Papadopoulos said the 45-year-0ld "has finished treatment and is doing very well and is happy to move forward with the next phase of her life."

Tierney is perhaps best known for her role as Abby Lockhart in "ER."
