Designed by Lady Gaga’s New York stylist Melania Trump’s first foray into green on St. Patrick’s Day turned head across the globe.

On Thursday Ireland’s leader Leo Varadkar presented United States President Donald Trump with a bowl of shamrocks during the traditional St. Patrick’s Day presentation but it was Melania’s green leopard-print dress that stole the show for many.

The Nieman Marcus website described the mid-length sleeveless dress as “silk blend, leopard print jacquard.” The dress retails for $1,595. It was designed by the New York-based designer Brandon Maxwell. She finished off the outfit with a pair of snakeskin heels.

The men wore sprigs of shamrock in their breast pockets while Leo Varadkar wore a green tie.

This is the first time Melania has been present at the White House St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, having missed Enda Kenny’s famous immigration reform speech last year.
