The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger is a huge fan of this particular Irish coffee

Mick Jagger is apparently a big fan of Irish coffee - particularly when it comes from The Buena Vista cafe in San Francisco. 

During a Rolling Stones concert at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on Sunday night, Mick Jagger had a special recommendation for the audience of nearly 50,000 people: have an Irish coffee at The Buena Vista. 

It was a solid bit of local advice. The Buena Vista is credited with introducing Irish coffee to the United States in 1952, and they've served up approximately 40 million since then.

Jagger couldn't have known it, but the cafe's general manager Kevin Jones was in the audience at the time and was absolutely floored.

Jones told ABC7 that he immediately began texting his co-workers and shared what had happened on The Buena Vista's social media. 

Buena Vista staff said they experienced an influx of Rolling Stones fans the following day, selling approximately 2,000 Irish coffees during lunchtime, which is "pretty good for a Monday afternoon."

One fan told the news station: "Mick is the bomb, whatever he says to do we do...If he says go the Buena Vista for Irish coffees we are there, and they are incredible."

Sunday night, part of the No Filter tour, marked the Stones' 40th concert in the area since 1965. They went nearly one hour past the stadium's 10:00 pm Sunday curfew and has to pay a $1,000 fine as a result.
