This year, the 2010 Girls under 11 World Champion Julia O'Rourke claimed her fifth consecutive Mid-Atlantic Regional Irish Dancing Championship in Girls under 12. O'Rourke is perhaps best known for her role in the much-lauded documentary Jig!, a film by Sue Bourne about the 2010 World Irish Dancing Championships. Sean Crosby, Mid-Atlantic Regional Irish Dancing Champion for Boys under 12, and Owen Luebbers, Mid-Atlantic Regional Irish Dancing Champion for Boys under 13, both claimed their fifth consecutive title this year.

Declan Meagher, whose first regional championship was in 2008, claimed his fourth consecutive title as Boys under 11 Mid-Atlantic Regional Champion .Three Mid-Atlantic Regional Irish Dancing boy champions, Sean Reagan, Lockie Nidds and Gannon Connors successfully defended their titles for the third consecutive year. Jonathan DiTullio defended his 2010 title to become the 2011 Boys under 14 Mid-Atlantic Regional Champion.
Kerri Betz, from Ryan Kilcoyne, started 2011 as a Preliminary Champion, moved up to Open Champion, placed 5th at the North American Irish Dancing Championships and then clinched this year's regional title for Girls under 11! Girls under 10 Mid-Atlantic Champion Emily Marino, from Rince na Tiarna, also won the North American Irish Dancing Championship for her age group this year.
