Pierce Brosnan stars as Conrad Harrigan, the head of a London-based Irish crime family, in the new Paramount+ series from Guy Ritchie, "MobLand."

"Power is up for grabs as the Harrigans and Stevensons, two warring London crime families, clash in a kill-or-be-killed battle that threatens to topple empires and ruin lives," a synopsis for the new series says.

"Caught in the crossfire is Harry Da Souza [Tom Hardy], the street-smart ‘fixer’ as dangerous as he is handsome, who knows too well where loyalties lie when opposing forces collide.

"As kingdom goes up against kingdom, lines will be crossed - and the only saving grace is a bet-your-life guarantee: family above everything."

"MobLand" will premiere on Sunday, March 30, exclusively on Paramount+ in the US, Canada, the UK, and Australia, while a global rollout will take place later this year.

Brosnan joins Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren as the stars of the new series that was first announced by Paramount+ in November when it went into production in London.

In the series, Hardy will play Harry Da Souza, "a professional conciliator on behalf of the Harrigan family."

Joining the cast is Paddy Considine as Conrad Harrigan's son Kevin, and Lara Pulver as Kevin's wife, Bella Harrigan.

Anson Boon will play Kevin’s rebellious son Eddie Harrigan, and Mandeep Dhillon will play Seraphina, Conrad’s daughter and Kevin’s half-sister.

Joanne Froggatt will play Harry da Souza's wife Jan Da Souza, and Jasmine Jobson will play Zosia, who works for Harry and is one of his closest associates.

“Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren are masters at their craft and we are honored to have them lead the cast for Guy Richie’s new global, original series," Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO and President/CEO of SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios, said in November.

“Guy, Jez Butterworth and Ronan Bennett’s creative prowess, coupled with these gifted actors, is the perfect recipe for what we believe will be the next brand defining series for Showtime on Paramount+.”

Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of programming for Paramount+, added: "The firepower on and off the screen in this new Guy Ritchie crime series will deliver exactly what audiences expect from Paramount + with Showtime: high-caliber acting, high-impact storylines, and high-level production from some of the best in the business."
