One Direction’s popularity continues to grow as the band’s facebook page has reached 10 million likes according to Unreality TV.

Niall Horan tweeted, “Wow just opened Facebook page and saw we hit 10 million likes! That’s incredible !!!!  #1DFBfamilyhits 10million”

And that’s just the band’s official group page. Individually, the band members have Twitter followers in the millions. Horan himself recently reached seven million followers on his Twitter feed. He tweeted to his fans, “Wey hey! Just got to 7 million followers! Me and @mrchrisleonard watched it turn to 7 mill ! Thank you all so much for the support!” His number of followers is still growing.

Horan doesn’t even have the most Twitter followers of the group. Harry Styles leads with an impressive 7,434,123 followers. Other band members fall in with 6,501,299 following Liam Payne, 6,343,949 following Louis Tomlinson, and 6,040,857 following Zayn Malik.

Combined, the One Direction members have more than forty million followers. Some fans may follow two, three, or all of the band members, but even with this taken into account, the young band still boasts a large following. 

The band recently released a single ‘Live While We’re Young’ and has currently been touring the UK after their recent stop in Dublin. They got their their start on the UK X Factor show two years ago.
