A week after their wedding in Co Leitrim, rugby star Brian O'Driscoll and actress Amy Huberman begin their honeymoon in Tanzania.

They couple were married at St Joseph's Church in the village of Aughavas., followed by a reception on the lawn of Lough Rynn Castle near Mohill.

“The wedding was fantastic," said O’Driscoll at the Dar Es Salaam airport on Thursday.

The couple will be in Tanzania for 17 days, staying in Ras Kutani for three days. They also plan to go on safari in Selous Game Reserve.

The two chose the east African country because they were looking for somewhere quiet.
