Final trailer for Ryan Reynold’s ‘Green Lantern’ released – VIDEO

Colin Farrell shines in hilarious trailer for 'Horrible Bosses' VIDEO

Reynolds and co-star Jason Bateman, who star in the raunchy up-coming body-switch comedy 'The Change-Up,' are delighted to be able to show their audiences what they had not been able to show before.

"I don't think there's any point in making it any other way," Reynolds told HitFix in a recent interview. "The R rating is the reason that I'm here. [We] do all the things you wish you could have seen in those other movies. Also seeing these two guys, in their own way, take advantage of the situation. It's a hall pass. You get a day pass here, and what would you do with it? "

Written by "The Hangover" duo Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, and directed by David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers), this is a comedy in which a married guy switches bodies with his best friend in order to woo his co-worker.

Dave, a married father of two kids, and Mitch, Dave's single friend and co-worker, both have a chance to live each other's lives when they switch bodies after standing in front of a magic fountain and saying: "I wish I had your life." Lightening strikes the fountain while the two buddy's are peeing into it, moving the movie straight into comical fiction.

"We're assuming, we're hoping, based on the material and the concept they're going to go, 'These guys are going to switch bodies,'" Bateman explained to the Huffington Post. "So let's have them just piss in a magic fountain and we'll be done with it. Who cares? It's what happens after that that we have to earn, and [writers] Lucas and Moore did a great job with it."

Reynolds adds that the story is very real "because there are all very real and scary things. If you were married for 16 years, and you got to be your buddy who's this wild, single guy, it sounds very appealing until you're in the lion's den. And then it's very scary."

Reynold's has a movie packed summer line-up which includes the comic book adaptation of "The Green Lantern."

"I'm really f**king lucky that I hit it late," he told Details in a recent interview. "None of this happened to me in my early twenties, so I didn't configure myself at an early age in the audience's mind as one guy."

Jason Batemen gets raunchy again in the up-coming comedy "Horrible Bosses," co-starring Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Anniston, Kevin Spacey and Colin Farrell.

Release date for 'The Change-Up' is August 5th.
