Saoirse Ronan rarely speaks about her husband Jack Lowden and yet their love for each other is palpable and the latest insight into their life together is a very sweet one.
The Irish actress has revealed the moment she knew the Scottish native was the man for her, and it is so relatable.
She explained that she knew she wanted to be with him forever because he accepted the admiration she has for her first love... food!
‘Jack loves how much I love food,’ she explained on Ruthie's Table 4 podcast. 'I was eating a burger and I was like, "What are you looking at?" she recalled. ‘He said, "I'm watching you eat that because you're getting so much out of it." That was when I knew.’ How sweet!
The pair first met while working on the film Mary Queen of Scots in 2018 and spent six years together before deciding to tie the knot.
Jack and Saoirse married in July at an extremely private ceremony in Jack’s native Scotland. There were a small number of the couple's closest pals in attendance at their Edinburgh wedding, with all guests sworn to secrecy to avoid attention from the paparazzi.

Clearly fond of working together, the pair also co-produced the hit film adaptation, The Outrun, this year, which Saoirse stars in.
What a busy year it has been for the pair, who currently live in a €2.8m home in Islington, north London, with their terrier dog Fran.
Saoirse also opened up her early childhood in the Bronx, New York, on the podcast. She recalled living in a 'tiny little one-bedroom flat' with her parents, Paul and Monica.
Her father became an aspiring actor while living in the US and so the family would house a host of up-and-coming musical theatre stars in their home.
'They would live with us, and mam would cook for all of them,' Saoirsr recalled.
She explained the reason that the family of three moved home to Ireland when Saoirse was three-years-old, saying: 'I think she (her mother) realised it wasn't the environment she wanted me to grow up in because they didn't have enough money to get a beautiful apartment or a garden, or daycare.'
Saoirse credits living in the US as the reason she has made it as an actress. 'It really made them who they are, and they made some incredible friends over there. I don't know if I would be doing what I'm doing what I'm doing if they hadn't made that move.'
