IT'S been quite a summer for Sarah Jessica Parker. She starred in one of the season's top box office hits, Sex and the City: The Movie, and was later undoubtedly rocked by reports that her husband Matthew Broderick cheated in the city with a twentysomething youngster while she was on location. But all seems well with the Broderick clan these days. At the start of the month family headed off for Ireland to their holiday home in Kilcar, Co. Donegal, as they've done on many occasions in the past, and enjoyed spending some quiet time alone, and mixing with the locals.

Then a report surfaced last week that SJP was pictured checking into a Dublin hotel, trying to be incognito. "She came into the hotel quite late. She kept her head down and was wearing these massive sunglasses, it was obvious she didn't want to be spotted by anyone. She seemed relaxed enough, but it can't be an easy time for her," a worker/amateur psychiatrist at the hotel told the Irish Independent. (How exactly does said employee know that it's not an easy time for her, anyway?!?)

According to Star magazine, which reported on the alleged Broderick tryst, he supposedly told his toygirl lover that he'd be spending last Christmas in Ireland, and would send her pictures of the beautiful countryside, but the woman in question was furious when she saw photos of him with SJP enjoying the sun in Hawaii.
