Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter has revealed that she’s in Ireland and set up a base in the Midlands for a tour of the country.

Rather than following in her parents and sister Rumer’s footsteps by entering the world of acting, Scout LaRue Willis has crafted a career for herself as a musician.

Touring Ireland with fellow singer-songwriter Kelley Swindall, Scout performed at Athlone pub Peddler Mac’s on Tuesday, before singing at Whelan’s in Dublin on Wednesday night.

"Die Hard" actor Bruce met "Ghost’s" Demi at a movie premiere in 1987, going on to marry the same year and have three daughters together.

Despite being one of the most popular couples in Hollywood, Bruce and Demi announced their separation in 1998, before filing for divorce two years later in 2000.

While they are no longer an item, Bruce and Demi have remained good friends since splitting up, with Bruce even attending his ex-wife’s wedding to Ashton Kutcher in 2005.

Returning back to Athlone on Thursday for two gigs in Sean’s Bar, Scout will finish her tour of the country in Drogheda, Co Louth, on Saturday (September 6) and before heading to Sligo on Sunday (September 7).

Scout’s decision to play in Athlone on multiple nights is due to her being a long-term friend of chiropractor Mary Helen Hensley, who moved to Athlone after working as an author and as a musician in the United States.

"I wanted Scout to come here, and she said her friend, Kelley was doing a UK tour. I was like, 'how about making Athlone your base for an Irish tour,'" she told The Westmeath Examiner.

Speaking to the Westmeath Independent about why she wants an Irish fanbase, Scout said: "Now that I’m here, I love it so much. I want to explore all of here and have a fanbase and a reason to come back.

"For so many years, Mary Helen was telling me that everyone is so kind and so real here and that Irish people truly love music in a way not many around the world do."

To date, Scout has only released one album, a self-titled LP in 2022, but last month seen premiere "Over and Over," which marked her first single in two years.

Last year, Scout’s very famous father was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

The 68-year-old actor previously announced he would be ‘stepping away’ from his Golden Globe-winning career after being diagnosed with a brain disorder known as aphasia, a condition that affects cognitive abilities.
