GAELIC Storm will be returning to Manhattan on the heels of their best-selling CD, What's the Rumpus. It recently debuted at the top spot on Billboard's World Music Chart and got the top sales spot on iTunes in the same category.

They will play the Blender Theater at Gramercy Park, 127 East 23rd Street, on Friday, September 19. The chart success is yet another milestone in the 10 years since Gaelic Storm was discovered by director James Cameron and featured in the blockbuster film Titanic. Since their big-screen debut, the band's fan base continues to multiply with each new album, turning the one-time pub band into one of the premier touring acts in the Celtic/World music genre.

Musically, Gaelic Storm's compelling originals and fresh arrangements steeped in Celtic traditional melody combined with their unique blend of world rhythms from the areas of Cajun, blues, and folk that continue to broaden the musical horizons of the Celtic music genre. With instruments ranging from African drums, Irish bagpipes and Celtic fiddle to trombones and deep fried accordions, there is something for everyone on What's the Rumpus.
