Taylor Swift has officially touched down in Ireland to kick off her sold-out Eras Tour concerts at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium tonight, tomorrow night, and Sunday.
Swift took to Instagram on Friday - not long before she took the stage at the Aviva - to share the sweet gesture she received from hometown heroes U2.
“Already feeling that Irish hospitality,” Swift captioned her story that showed the bouquet of flowers sent to her from Bono, Edge, Adam, and Larry.
“U2, thanks for always being the classiest and coolest,” Swift wrote, adding an Irish flag emoji.
Dubbing themselves as Swift’s “Irish fan club,” the U2 lads wrote: “Welcome back to our hometown … Leave some of it standing?!”
Earlier in the day, a more large-scale welcome was rolled out for Swift ahead of her arrival in Dublin.
Irish radio station Today FM teamed up with Irish mural specialists Mack Signs for a 100m installation on a Dublin beach that read "Ireland [Taylor's Version]."
Elsewhere on Friday, Dublin Jet Aviation shared this clip of what they said was Swift's private jet landing at Dublin Airport on Friday:

On Thursday, An Garda Síochána extended a cead mile failte to Swift (and her Swifites!) while announcing traffic management plans that had been in place.
Marking the occasion, members of the An Garda Siochana were filmed performing a version of Swift's hit song "Shake It Off."
This weekend, @taylorswift13 will take to the stage in Dublin. This is just one of many events taking place nationwide over the coming days.

This weekend will be the fourth time Swift is headlining one of her tours in Ireland. She brought her Speak Now world tour to Belfast and Dublin in 2011, her 1989 world tour to Dublin in 2015, and her Reputation world tour to Dublin in 2018.
The Grammy winner has also spent a considerable amount of time in Ireland in a personal capacity, specifically in Co Donegal and Co Limerick. She's also visited Co Wicklow, which she references in her song "Sweet Nothing" from her 2022 album "Midnights."
Last week, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum revealed that Swift actually has Irish roots.
