Over 4,000 young hurling and camogie players are set to take part in the John West Féile na nGael Camogie and Hurling Finals in more than 20 venues across Ireland on Saturday, June 22.
This year's Féile, which marks the 50th anniversary of the camogie competition, features more than 200 club sides in what has become one of the biggest underage sporting events in Europe.
A total of 24 teams will descend on Co Wexford for the Division One finals, which take place at the Halo Tiles Wexford GAA Centre of Excellence in Ferns.
A further 3,640 players, representing almost 200 teams, will take part in other division finals in 22 venues across Ireland.
Meanwhile, more than 4,000 young Gaelic footballers and ladies footballers will take part in the Féile Peile na nÓg on Saturday, June 29.
The national division one finals will take place at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence, Bekan, Co Mayo, while other division finals will take place in 20 venues across the country.
More than 4,000 players are set to take part in the Féile Peile na nÓg finals this year, which marks the 30th anniversary of the inclusion of ladies football in Féile Peile na nÓg.
For the first time ever, a side from Australia will take part in the Gaelic football competition, with clubs from the UK, the US, and Europe also taking part.
GAA President Jarlath Burns said the Féile forms an integral part of the GAA calendar, stating that the event helps "nurture an enthusiasm for our games."
"Generations have experienced the joy of being a part of Féile na nGael and Féile Peile na nÓg, and I look forward to seeing this tradition continue this year," Burns said in a statement.
"Our thanks to John West for their support in the promotion of this competition and to the national organising committee for their work on John West Féile 2024."
This is the ninth year of John West’s sponsorship of Féile and for a second year, John West will partner with SuperValu to promote John West Féile in stores across Ireland.
