The annual Irish Redhead Convention will take place August 22-24 in Crosshaven, County Cork, Ireland.
What started as a joke back in 2010 by siblings and redheads Joleen and Denis Cronin, has now turned into a widely celebrated festival that raises money for the Irish Cancer Society.
The event has raised over €15,000 for cancer care, research and support in Ireland, according to the Redhead Convention website.
Activities at last year’s convention included a cook-off, pub crawl, carrot tossing competition, group photo, and the world premiere of the movie “Being Ginger.”
