Bradley Cooper is in negotiations to star in a remake of "The Crow" the cult classic, famed for Brandon Lee's death.
In the new movie directed by Juan Carlos Frenadillo, Cooper will play a rock musician who is murdered while trying to save his fiancée from thugs. He is resurrected by supernatural forces and seeks revenge.
In the 1993 version of the movie this role was played by Brandon Lee, who was killed by a freak accident during production in 1993.
Frenadillo only came on board this project a week ago. Hollywood Reporter has said that the Frenadillo, the director of "28 Weeks Later", met with Cooper in Spain. Apparently the pair hit it off and agree on a vision for the character in the movie.
The movie will be made by Relativity films. Cooper is currently starring in theatre's in their hit movie "Limitless".
It's believed that production on the new project will start in the fall.
Cooper can also been seen in "The Hangover Part II" on May 26.
