Harry Potter filming may be over but Irish actress Evanna Lynch, 19, is getting no rest. In the last two weeks she has attended premieres of the latest "Harry Potter" film (in which she also stars) in Norway, Sweden, Finland and England before attending the Irish premiere in Dublin last week.
Despite the hectic schedule Lynch, who plays Luna Lovegood, one of the most beloved characters in the "Harry Potter" series, is still enjoying the ride.
"It's great meeting all the fans, especially the younger ones and speaking to them, signing autographs and getting your photograph taken with them."
"Although sometimes you hear them screaming and you wonder is it for me because if I hadn't gone for the audition all those years ago I probably would have been in the front row doing the screaming," said Evanna, who appeared at the recent Dublin premiere in a Gomez Garcia dress that wowed the fashion world.
Principal photography for the second to last "Harry Potter" film was completed in May and Lynch told the press she was going to miss it.
"It is sad. I was 14 when I started filming and I'm 19 now, so it's been a big chunk of my life," said Evanna, who plans to pursue a career in acting in the United States – but first she wants to score an excellent Leaving Certificate (the Irish high school diploma).
Lynch won the Luna Lovegood role in competition with 15,000 other actresses after her dad flew her specially to London for the audition.
