Matthew Broderick wanted to make a follow up to 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'. The actor - who is married to 'Sex and the City' actress Sarah Jessica Parker - discussed the possibility of a sequel to the 1986 movie with the film's director John Hughes, but nothing really came of it.
He said: "It's something we talked about - catching up with Ferris as an adult and seeing how he turned out.
"We never quite got it together though. I'm still not sure what Ferris would be up to now. I wish John was around because he might have a good idea. I think he would maybe be living in a rick house near where he grew up. I bet he would be exactly like his parents."
Matthew, 47, recently revealed he found it hard to escape from playing Ferris Bueller. He said: "For a while, it made me uncomfortable. It sometimes surprises me that that's the only movie anybody seems to know I did."
