From groundbreaking films to award-winning musicians, CraicFest continues to bring the best of Irish talent to New York City, drawing audiences from near and far.

The festivities launch on Wednesday, March 5 with a performance by acclaimed Irish step dancer Kait Sardin live at Paddy Reilly’s Music Bar with very special guests, promising an electrifying start to the festival.

"Mrs. Robinson"

CraicFest begins on Thursday, March 6 with the New York premiere of the award-winning documentary "Mrs. Robinson," a powerful look at Mary Robinson’s historic journey as Ireland’s first female President, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and global advocate for climate action. A Q&A with producer Cormac Hargaden will follow the screening.

"King Frankie"

Friday, March 7 features the New York premiere of "King Frankie," which follows the gripping story of a man navigating the complexities of life, loyalty, and survival. Written and directed by Dermot Malone and starring Peter Coonan ("King of the Travellers," "Love/Hate.") A Q&A with Director Dermot Malone and Peter Coonan will follow the screening.

"Words on Canvas"

CraicFest 2025 concludes on Saturday, March 8 with the New York premiere of "Words on Canvas," a compelling documentary that offers an intimate look into the creative world of Irish singer-songwriter David Keenan. The film captures Keenan’s artistic journey, exploring his dedication to authenticity in an ever-evolving music industry. Following the screening, audiences will be treated to an exclusive live performance by David Keenan in the intimate setting of Village East by Angelika, making for a truly unforgettable closing night experience.

Additional CraicFest 2025 Highlights

Spotlight on Documentaries – "Housewife of the Year" (Dir. Ciaran Cassidy),  followed by a Q&A with the director on Saturday, March 8 at 3 pm.

Best of Shorts Showcase – Featuring Oscar-qualified "Room Taken," executive produced by Colin Farrell, plus "The Big City" (Dir. Cian O’Connor), and "Trouble" (Dir. Maura McDonnell) on Saturday, March 8 at 5 pm.

Kids Fest – A family-friendly program showcasing Irish animated shorts, comedy, and Irish step dancing with the McManus Dance Company on Saturday, March 8 at 11:30 am.
