Description
In November 2021, the Northern Ireland Executive accepted the recommendations of the Truth Recovery Design Panel’s report Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses in Northern Ireland: Truth, Acknowledgement and Accountability.
The Executive Office wishes to hear from a wide range of interested persons and organizations. This will help inform Ministers and the Assembly finalize the required legislation.
The responses received will be collated and a summary published at the end of the consultation period.
Please note: No contact details or information that would identify a respondent as a private individual will be published.
Support services
Whilst the focus of the consultation is on policy proposals, we are conscious of those who have been directly affected by the issues.
Support for those affected is available through the Victims and Survivors Services (VSS). Information on how to access support is available here or phone 028 9031 1678 (Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm).
