Headlining the St. Patrick's Day Celebration in the Hudson Valley on March 16 are the incomparable Cherish the Ladies, who are in the midst of their 40th anniversary tour.
Under the leadership of Joanie Madden, the Grammy-nominated Irish American group is no stranger to the Hudson Valley, having sold out concerts at the Paramount over their brilliant career of Irish musical excellence.
Cherish the Ladies bring their award-winning musicians and step dancers across the globe, but they always enjoy a home stand in their native Westchester County in New York!
Also headlining the St. Patrick's Day Celebration in the Hudson Valley is The Daisy Jopling Band.
Daisy has toured the world performing solo in iconic venues, including the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, Lincoln Center, and Royal Albert Hall in London at the age of 14.
Wielding a nearly 250-year-old Italian-crafted violin, London-born virtuoso Daisy has nine albums, two with BMG RCA Victor. Her deep love of Irish music, influenced by tunes and artists from her family's visits to their oceanside home in Co Kerry, is a testament to the global recognition of Irish culture.
As Peekskill's very own Global Ambassador of Musical Excellence, Daisy and her talented band will also feature local young talent at the St. Patrick's Day Celebration on March 16.
The breathtaking and historic Paramount stage will also light up with Irish bagpipes, talented young Clan na hÉireann Irish Dancers directed by Katie Roper Izzo, and other special guests on March 16.
