'Ho Hum Bandit' Adam Lynch could be linked to a series of bank heists in the Seattle area according to the FBI.
The 34-year-old Dubliner is currently being questioned by police in Denver after his arrest there last week.
It was initially reported that Lynch may be responsible for as many as 24 robberies across the West Coast.
But now the FBI have confirmed that their Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force want to speak to him about a series of bank jobs in and around Seattle as well.
Lynch achieved his ‘Ho Hum Bandit’ title from his bland appearance and the casual manner in which he carried off his robberies.
The Irishman never wore disguises and would casually walk out the front door of the banks after getting his loot.
So far, Lynch has only been indicted for a robbery at a Chase Bank in Edgewater, Colo, but FBI agents are investigating a large number of additional bank robberies in Seattle, California, Washington, Wyoming and Colorado.
If convicted, Lynch faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
