A new web poll carried out by NewsWhip.ie has show that Irish voters would opt for an Labour – Sinn Fein coalition Government. It seems that the Irish public want a change of direction for the country.
Their poll showed that 47.3 percent of voters opted for a Labour-led coalition, which included Sinn Fein and independents.
In third place, was Fine Gael who mustered just 8.3 percent in favor of a Fine Gael-led coalition with Labour. Another 8.3 percent supported a Labour-led coalition with Fine Gael.
The option for a Fianna Fail-Fine Gael, with Micheal Martin as Prime Minister received zero votes. As did the option for Eamon Gilmore as Prime Minster.
