A restaurant on the world famous Ring of Kerry has sparked outrage after it banned ‘loud Americans’ from the premises.
Tourists and locals alike have reacted angrily to the actions of the popular Peter’s Place Café in the resort of Waterville.
The café’s policy went viral after it posted a sign on the door that read ‘No bus/coach or loud Americans.’
The Irish Mirror reports that tourists have voiced their outrage at the poster.
The paper says the post, penned in colored marker, has angered people with many posting their thoughts on social networking site Twitter.
One anger visitor to the cafe tweeted: “It must be a great thing in life to have your money made!”
Another tweeted: “Nice Irish welcome for American tourists visiting.”
