It’s a very sad moment for U2 as their longtime tour manager, Dennis Sheehan, was found dead this morning in his Los Angeles hotel room.
Sheehan, who was in his 60s, has worked as the Dublin band’s tour manager for over 30 years.
Celebrity news site TMZ reports that paramedics arrived at his room at the Sunset Marquis Hotel at 5:30 am this morning after Sheehan went into cardiac arrest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The night before, U2 had completed the first of a 5 night run at the Forum in LA. They are in the midst of their iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE international tour.
Sheehan spent his career working with a range of rock n’ roll royalty, including Led Zepplin, Patti Smith and Lou Reed.
